This week!

I am busy studying for an exam (Oct 24th).. so don't have much time to play! I am working on 20 invitations for my birthday party that I was hoping to mail out on Friday! But they are still going SLOW!
I also have to make an annivesary card (for hubby Oct 11th) and a wedding card for a friend who's getting married Oct. 18th! Luckily with Caardvaark's Sketchfest last week I got a lot of other cards knocked out that I had to sent out!
I also checked out a new forum called Scrap for a Cure! Check it out when you have a chance!

There is going to be some great challenges this week with the World Cardmaking Day! Citrus Tree Studio and Caardvaarks will be hosting some fun challenges this weekend! Can't wait do work on a few of those....I am sure I will be staying up late this weekend so I can finish some projects!!

Have a great week!

I was very excited when I found out what the next Cuttlebug Challenge was, to finish off a great month of the Birthday Palooza Celebration over at Cuttlebug Challenge Blogspot! I probably will forget all I used.. I used a basket, some styrofoam, wooden mummies, pumpkin, potion bottle, bats, and I made the ghosts in the tree from Bazzill CS and embossed them with my Cuttlebug (Swirls)... I couldn't get a great photo.. so sorry about that!
I can't wait to display it on my 30th birthday party on October 30th!

Cuttlebug #49 Be Inspired Mini-Album Challenge

I am very excited to have finished my mini-album for the Cuttlebug Challenge! This week's challenge was to create a mini-album to go with your birthday theme!

I used Bo-Bunny's  My Edgy Cascading Album, and covered it with special glitter paper, and Bazzill cardstock. I used prima flowers, and Magic Memories Mistletoe Pins. I used my cuttlebug for several embossing such as the swirl, the dots, happy birthday and the bigger dots. I also used Olivia Alpha. Basic Basic ribbon, and pearl strings, and several rhinestone blings, such as Say it in Crystals, Big Idea Rhinestones, and also Cloud 9 Happy Birthday stickers. Several Martha Stewart Punches were also used...I also sanded some of the edges..all of the scallops were cut out using an x-acto knife..and we're tedious! Sorry for posting so many pictures! The album was a lot bigger than I thought when I got it!

Thank you for stopping by!

On the left page I will be putting my birthday invitation

Day 2 Cuttlebug Challenge-Mini Album

Of course it's all black and white... so I need to make each "page" unique not to look alike! Since it will be used for my actual 30th Birthday Party I am making it extra special! ;-)Can't wait to finish it later today and post pictures so be sure to check them out later!
Have a Happy Friday and a Great Weekend!!!

Please watch the HSN/Provo Craft launch on September 24th starting at 12 AM. Be sure to DVR or TIVO the show if you will not be home!!

Also wanted to post about the Cutting Above Blog and Debut! Click HERE! for the giveway!

New Cuttlebug and Misc Goodies!

I ordered a few more Cuttlebug Embossing Folders! I should be getting my goodies any day now.. Some Christmas Embossing Folders, also a butterfly die cut and embossing folders which I am super excited about! I love butterflies!

I also ordered the Loop Martha Stewart Border Punch on E-Bay on Sunday (at a small premium of course) and already received it yesterday! This punch is sold out on Martha Stewart's website and is going to come in October 15th.. I didn't want to wait that long, but you can tell some people online are really taking advantage of the situation and charge a fortune for them! Michaels never even had it in the store near my house, of if they do, they sell out right away!

Day 1 Cuttlebug Be Inspired Challenge #49!

I started on the Cuttlebug Mini-Album challenge last night, and got all my paper laid out, cut, and adhered to the chipboard! Today I will have about an hour to work on it as well, and hopefuly finish it tomorrow. I am very excited, since this album will be used for my actual birthday pictures next month!

Can't wait to finish this challenge! It would be my 3rd Mini-Album! My first album was the Las Vegas Album (posted) and my second was the Halloween album also posted on this blog.

For this project I am using Bo Bunny's "My Edgy Cascading Album - Licorice"

Happy Thursday! Almost TGIF!!!

Cuttlebug #49 Be Inspired Challenge!

I am very excited as this week's Cuttlebug Challenge was released today!! This is the 3rd challenge of the month. I already participated in the Birthday Party Invite, and Birthday Card and Gift Bag Challenge. This week I will be working on a MINI ALBUM using my current theme! It's great! We can use any album shape, material, as long as I keep my theme... and a cuttlebug folder of course... Now my dilemma becomes FINDING the wooden mummy I used for my creations. Michaels' didn't have any more the last few times I went! OH NO! Off to looking for another Michaels's! Can't wait to get started!!

I am also very excited since this album will be used for my birthday! I'll be posting my birthday pictures in it next month! ;-)
Happy Wednesday!

My current theme set: Birthday Invitation, Birthday Card, and a Gift Bag...

New Cuttlebug Alpha's!

I am very excited to get 4 Cuttlebug Alpha's this week! I ordered them through E-bay and got an awesome deal they are brand new.. The not so funny part of this story was that I LOST this bid last minute, and then a few days later I got a second chance offer! I could NOT turn it down...OMG!!! They are indeed brand new! I got a STEAL of a DEAL!!! I am very excited and can't wait to use them!!!

Two Birthday Cards!

I wanted to share these two birthday cards I made last month. One for my aunt, and one was for a great friend of mine. I am still keeping my cards very simple. It's all part of the learning process! I can't wait to learn how to stitch!! After my exam towards the end of October I will have more time and will pull out my sewing machine! As you can see, I love flower embellies!

Here they are..

The side shot of this card shows the embossing on the card..

Here are some more birthday and miscellaneous cards I made since!
