Almost time for our babymoon!

We are departing soon on our 16 day Babymoon! Here are the places on the list!
Sacramento, CA
Napa Valley, CA
San Francisco, CA
Yosemite, CA
Las Vegas, NV
Sedona, AZ
Grand Canyon, AZ
Bryce Canyon National Park, UT
MOAB, UT (Arches and Canyonlands NP)
Salt Lake City, UT
Rapid City, SD
back home...
We are flying into Sacramento, driving from there until Salt Lake City where we drop off the car and take a short plane ride to Rapid City. In Rapid City we mainly want to check out Mt. Rushmore, which is on hubby's bucket list, so is the Salt Lake...Our longest stretch of driving is from Yosemite to LAS, that's a little over 8 hours.. and since we want to stop at the lowest spot in the US we will even take longer! In Vegas we will go see "O" and of course I got my way of staying at Bellagio.. I don't think anything will beat Mandalay's Pool, but it's probably going to be too cold to swim anyways...
Hope it all works out great! I will need quite some potty breaks..I will be wearing a maternity belt to help my back, and also some compression socks for the flight to CA and also the LONG car rides... I did get me a pair of sneakers and some cute socks!

Am very excited and can't wait! Tons of scrapping material!!

Inspiration for Nursery and Fabric Choices

We have finally decided on a color scheme for the nursery! And yes, after all the NO PINK I ended up with pink... The walls will be pink and lime greenish... I want to try harlequins on the wall where the crib is going. The bathroom will be painted green to match the room also. I am having the crib bedding custom made. Mom and my mother-in-law will be helping me with the window treatments and the pillows! Here are some samples of the fabrics I will be using. The bumper will have a clean cord, with ISABELLA embossed, a few colors, the sheets are pink, and the skirt is going to be tailored, with a band and the ball trim!
Here are some pics of the crib beddings previously produced, and also the inspiration room I found on HGTV's website "Rate my Space"
I want a similar type swag behind the crib, but more poofy... underneath it I will have her name in big letters!

Saw this at the fabric store and really liked it.. but I also like a long one.. so we'll see..
Or something like this two toned curtains..
Something like this, but probably all one height and not with the two colors... depends what will look nice..
Thanks for checking it out!

Here is my card!

I used Bazzill CS, Celebrate it Ribbon, Cuttlebug Swirls, Prima Flowers, and Stamendous Stamps and Heat Embossing Powder (Zing) and heating gun for the sentiment, and stickles for the swirls!

Baby Shower Invites

On Sunday I finally sat down for a little over 5 hours with a friend to work on these baby shower invites! My mother-in-law doesn't want me to help her, but I asked her if I could do the invites!! I made 40.. This week I am finishing them up by adding the "for, date, rsvp" cutout, and also stickling the "baby shower" text on the front, also some swirls..
I used AC card stock, some bazzill and some DCWV paper. I used the dots and swirls cuttlebug folder to emboss the pink cs. I inked the edges of the cards. I used Cricut's New Arrival to cut out the feet in the circle, and the baby shower text, and the inside text. I had this lace laying around in my wedding material craft box, and it was just perfect for these cards!! I added the pink button as a special touch.
I will post updated pics of the finished product as soon as I have them. I finished 11 last night, so have 29 more to go.. I try to do a little every night, since sitting down like that kills my back!

Cricut Expressions Giveway!

There is a great Cricut giveway going on! Check it out here!  This would be a great mothers day gift for my mom, since I got her hooked on scrapping last July! Here is my coordinating project! I used the cuttlebug on almost every page of the mini album... also used it for the gift bag (swirls) and the birthday card (white swirls)...
