Joy Christmas Card

As I was supposed to PACK for my trip to Mexico I decided to scrap some instead! Smart, right??? Hubby was busy with an application for his P.E. so I scrapped away! Was not that excited about the outcome, but my goal was to make a card that you can easily mail.. I know the more bulk, the harder it gets to mail out! I couldn't believe for my birthday it cost $1.22 to mail out each invite! Soo... here is my creation.. I used the Joys of the Season and Plantin Schoolbook Cricut Cartriges, can't remember the paper but I am sure you will know which one I used. The tree and oval was cut out with the Cricut. The tree was 4" and the oval also. The smaller oval was 3.5"... I used a blackout tree for the background, and inked the edges and added some peals...I used the Martha Stewart "stars" punch and a pom pom fringe...Here you go!

  1. I wanted to come back and tell you that this is such a pretty card... Also, I agree with you about how it really fretts me that it's gotten so expensive to mail cards that we make. It's very discouraging because we feel good about the cards we make and they have that special touch yet the Post Office keeps going up on the fees to mail them.
